Sprenger Crippen brings strategy, copy, design, and development together for established service businesses ready for a clearer, more credible online presence.

Make clarity visible.

The business evolved.
The website didn't.

A redesign is worth doing when it resolves a real gap between what the business has become and what customers can see.

01

The business feels established. The website does not.

The reputation earned through years of work gets flattened into a generic first impression.

02

The offer makes sense in conversation, not online.

Visitors have to decode services, differences, and next steps that should feel immediately clear.

03

Mobile became the main entrance by accident.

The smallest screen carries the highest stakes, but still feels like a compressed desktop afterthought.

Everything needed to make the next decision easier.

The same two founders stay responsible from the first business question to the finished build.

01

Strategy

Make the decision path obvious.

We clarify the customer, the offer, and the action the website needs to make easier before visual decisions begin.

  • Audience and offer
  • Page architecture
  • Conversion path
02

Story

Say the useful thing first.

We turn expertise into a clear message hierarchy so visitors understand the value without decoding the business.

  • Core-page copy
  • Message hierarchy
  • Calls to action
03

Design

Give the business a point of view.

We begin with mobile, then art-direct tablet and desktop as deliberate compositions inside one coherent system.

  • Art direction
  • Responsive system
  • Interaction language
04

Build

Carry every decision through production.

We build the finished experience, test the details, and stay responsible through launch and handoff.

  • Front-end build
  • Accessibility and QA
  • Launch support

Built for businesses with a reputation worth translating online.

Not every business needs a custom website. The work matters most when the company is already strong and its online presence is the part that has fallen behind.

  • 01

The business is established, but the website no longer reflects its reputation.

  • 02

Customers struggle to understand the offer or know what to do next.

  • 03

The team wants strategy, copy, design, and development to move together.

  • 04

Leadership is ready to make decisions and participate in a focused process.

Clear decisions.
No final surprise.

Each phase makes the next one easier. Strategy is not separated from copy, and design is not separated from the build that has to carry it.

  1. 01

    Find the signal

We learn the business, the customer, what has changed, and what the current website fails to communicate.

    Shared brief and priorities
  2. 02

    Set the system

We define the message, page architecture, visual direction, and the path visitors should be able to follow.

    Narrative and design direction
  3. 03

    Build the experience

Copy, responsive design, and development move together, with visible checkpoints instead of a final surprise.

    Working website
  4. 04

    Launch with ownership

We test, publish, and hand over the accounts, source, and practical knowledge needed to run the site.

    Launch and handoff

Client-controlled from day one

  • Domain and hosting
  • Vendor accounts
  • Source and finished assets

You work with us,
not through us.

Direct founder access is not a line in a proposal. It is how every engagement is structured.

My background is in mechanical engineering and blue-collar business operations. Engineering taught me how to break complex problems into clear, repeatable systems, while my operations experience taught me the value of hard work, communication, and organization. I bring that same mindset to every website we build.

I am based in Orange County, where I spend most of my time studying mechanical engineering, working in the aerospace industry, making music, training in the gym, and creating spreadsheets for things that probably did not need a spreadsheet.

My background is in IT, systems, and problem-solving, so I naturally think beyond how a website looks. I care about whether it is clear, whether it works properly, and whether a potential customer immediately understands why they should choose the business.

I have always been drawn to creative work. Outside of web design, I produce electronic music, which has shaped the way I think about rhythm, energy, detail, and creating something people remember.

I am based in Orange County, where I spend most of my free time making music, trying new restaurants, traveling with my wife, and probably analyzing a website that nobody asked me to analyze.

Know how the relationship works.

01Who is the studio best for?

Established service businesses with a strong real-world reputation and a website that no longer communicates it clearly. We are rooted in Orange County and work wherever the right project is.

02What does mobile-first mean here?

The message hierarchy and essential actions are solved on the smallest screen first. Tablet and desktop are then deliberately art-directed—not stretched versions of the phone layout.

03Can you help with the words and structure?

Yes. Strategy, page architecture, and core website copy are part of the same connected process as design and development.

04Who owns the finished website?

You do. The domain, hosting, vendor accounts, source, and finished assets remain in client-controlled accounts with a clear handoff at launch.

05What is included before launch?

Responsive implementation, accessibility fundamentals, technical SEO foundations, performance work, browser testing, and launch support are built into the engagement.

What changed—and why now?

Tell Joe and Solomon what the current website misses. A useful first note is enough; it does not need to be a perfect brief.
